וַיֹּ֧אמֶר דָּוִ֛ד אֶל־גָּ֖ד צַר־לִ֣י מְאֹ֑ד נִפְּלָה־נָּ֤א בְיַד־יְהוָה֙ כִּֽי־רַבִּ֣ים רחמו [רַֽחֲמָ֔יו] וּבְיַד־אָדָ֖ם אַל־אֶפֹּֽלָה׃
David répondit à Gad: "Mon anxiété est grande… Livrons-nous cependant à la main de l’Éternel, car il est plein de miséricorde, plutôt que de tomber dans la main de l’homme."
